<<My brothers, and Sisters,

I did not ask to be sent the condemning article sent by Mr. Baines. I do feel very sorry for any man who can condemn many "Christians" to Hell if they do not agree with his theology. We are damned to Hell, according to Mr. Baines if you believe in man having a free will, or do not accept the false hood of Calvinism

"Interrupted" theology. This is LEGALISM at its finest! An ignorant Christian can still make it to heaven, but someone who does not agree with Mr. Baines or Calvinism is on the road to hell it seems. I take it that we should all ignore the scriptures that do not meet this abstract LEGALISTIC theology as Mr. Bain does, and accept his PROUD condemnation and JUDGEMENT, since we are not one of "Baines" Elect! I do not find a whole lot of difference between the murder in Mr. Baines heart towards Christian brothers and sisters whom he disagrees with, and that of "Saint" John Calvin who TORTURED and MURDERED Michael Servetus publicly, yet never publicly repented of it and later justified it, sadly, all because he disagreed with another. All in the name of MAN MADE Legalistic theology. Let me be clear, I do not agree with the theology that Servetus claimed, yet did not the scriptures state back then, as now to "Love your enemy!! Let it be noted that the Calvinists of Geneva put half-green wood around the feet of Servetus and a wreath strewn with sulfur on his head. It took over thirty minutes to render him lifeless in such a fire, while the people of Geneva stood around to watch him suffer and slowly die! John Calvin had thus murdered his enemy, and there is nothing to suggest that he ever repented his crime. The next year he published a defense in which further insults were heaped upon his former adversary in most vindictive and intemperate language."

Mt 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' Mt 5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

Mr. Bain should take warning in the scriptures…..Pride STILL does go before a fall.

I believe the following scriptures have much to say Mr. BAIN:

1st Tim 4:1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

2nd Peter 3:17 Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position.

You're in my prayers,

Christ 's Blessings,

John D. Bennett II

Who has the boldness to publicly call John D. Bennett II an unregenerate agent of Satan on this e-mail list? Who has the gall to publicly call him a brother in Christ on this e-mail list? And who will just lurk in the shadows, not willing to take a position on anything?

A few comments on what Bennett wrote:

(1) I am not a Calvinist, so I do not tell anyone to become a Calvinist. Calvinist was unregenerate, as shown by the fact that he held to universal atonement.

(2) I condemn no one to hell. I do, however, judge certain people to be unregenerate, to be unsaved, to be lost. This includes everyone who believes that Jesus Christ died for everyone without exception. All such people are unregenerate. If they remain in this state, they will go to hell. But I do not know, among those who are currently unregenerate, whom God will eventually save. Thus, I do not know if they are going to hell. I know that Bennett is unregenerate, but I do not know if God will save him later in his life.

(3) Bennett quotes 2 Peter 3:9 as if it proves his position. 2 Peter 3:9 says that the Lord is longsuffering to WHO? To US-WARD. He is not willing that any of US should perish. Now we have to find out who the US are. Is the US everyone without exception? To whom is 2 Peter written? See 2 Peter 1:1-4. He is not willing that any of HIS PEOPLE should perish, but that all of HIS PEOPLE should come to repentance. Now think about it: If this passage meant that God isn't willing that ANYONE AT ALL should perish, then what does that say about Bennett's god when SOME DO perish? It says that Bennett's god is a helpless idol who cannot fulfill what he desires. He desires that everyone should come to repentance, but some do not. He is an eternally disappointed little god who cannot bring about what he wishes. Poor little god. He's hoping and hoping and hoping that everyone will be saved, but some people end up in hell anyway, against his wishes.

Also, look at the context of the passage. What is the "promise" in 2 Peter 3:9? It is the promise of the second coming (2 Peter 3:4). The Lord has not returned yet because of his longsuffering toward His people, because He is not willing that any of His people will perish. As soon as the last one of His people comes to repentance, the Lord will return. If the Lord has not returned because He is not willing that everyone without exception should perish, then the Lord would NEVER return!
