(From Outside the Camp, Vol. 5, No. 1)
As I predicted, more people asked to be removed from our mailing list after the last issue than after any other issue. Directly telling specific people that they are lost and their deeds are evil will do that. One man even tore the newsletter in half and sent it back to me.
In the May 2000 issue, I listed the different places in the world from which we have received hits on our web site. I would now like to list the different places to which we mail the Outside the Camp newsletter: Australia, Brazil, Canada, England, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Malaysia, Malta, Mexico, Nepal, Netherlands, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Scotland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tanzania, Thailand, United States, Wales, Yugoslavia, and Zambia. Within the United States, we mail the newsletter to: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. As of January 1, 2001, there were 874 addresses on our mailing list (734 U.S., 140 foreign). God's gospel is getting out!
I recently finished preaching a ten-part series on the gospel. It included what the gospel is and is not, essential gospel doctrine, and gospel repentance and judgment. Cassette tapes of this series are free for the asking. I do not have good oratory skills, but I pray that God will use the messages to edify and convict.
